1 - Last weekend featured the Whitianga Scallop Festival, and I was fortunate to pick up a spare ticket and travel down-and-across for the occasion. The first evening that we were there, Matt and I headed out to check out the scenery at Flaxmill Bay (about 5 min walk from Ferry Landing).
